Transgender New Zealand was founded by Renee Carter as she found other groups were more focused on the political side of things, rather than help people easily navigate transitioning on their journeys by not providing the easy to access resources we want at the time and having to scroll through endless politics to get what they want. Transgender New Zealand is a compassionate and inclusive support group dedicated to empowering transgender individuals in New Zealand, Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive space for the transgender community to connect, share, and thrive without all the politics.
